Corry, George Harold Jr., age 79, passed peacefully at home, on February 19, 2025, in Columbia, Maryland. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, veteran of the U.S. Army, graduate from Georgia Tech, and Johns Hopkins, he moved to Columbia, Maryland, in 1970, where he began a long career at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, as an aerospace engineer. He was an avid golfer, Maryland sports enthusiast, friend to many, and generous father to a blended family. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Madeline Garner Corry, of Sparta, Georgia and father, George H. Corry Sr., of Atlanta, Georgia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Dana, children; Heath (Jenny), Brandon (Patti), George (Heather), and Brandon Shane, grandchildren; Griffin, Kindred, Ruby, Robin, Cressy, Moxie, Ellis, and Arlo; along with sister Maryann (Bruce). He leaves behind a life of memories for many and will be dearly missed.
