On July 12, 2011, George E. Rippel, Sr., beloved husband of Betty May Rippel (nee McLaughlin) passed away. Loving father of George E. Rippel, Jr. and the late Leslie Ann Rippel Fox; he is also survived by his grandchildren; Steven Elias, Kevin Russell, Marshall, Nathaniel and Sarah Fox, his great-grandchildren; Gavin Elias and Grayson Stephen.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2011, from 4-8 p.m., WITZKE FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, Maryland where prayers will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011,
St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5976 Old Washington Road, Elkridge, MD at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in Loudon Park Cemetery.
