Born in Taiwan, she was one of eight siblings and later immigrated to the United States, following her husband Min-Jer Yang. Together, they owned and managed Peking Restaurant in Norfolk for almost 20 years. Hsiu-Eng was preceded in death by her husband, Min-Jer, in 2021. She will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her three children, Kim, Lori, and Marilyn, and her two grandchildren, Eric and Megan.
