I remember hanging out with Mike and Jimmy at DOJ many times. Jimmy always brought great joy to Mike and the entire office when he visited. During one visit, first thing in the morning, Mike let me take Jimmy with me across the street to get breakfast. At the store, Jimmy saw a big bag of pistachio nuts and asked for them. He did not want anything else so I bought the bag for him. Mike forever banned me from taking Jimmy to breakfast after that. Apparently 10 year old children are not supposed to eat pistachios for breakfast. Who knew? Mike, Polly, and Laura, I am so sorry.

Michael and Polly: I remember working as a front line attorney in the Civil Rights Division when Jimmy was born. He immediately became part of the Criminal Section family. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. He sure packed a lot into a short amount of time. Thinking of you.
