Jason, 27, who worked as a computer scientist for 2c4 Technologies in Frederick, MD, died July 21st. He was born in Columbia, MD and lived in Highland until moving to Frederick in 2015. Jason graduated from River Hill High School, Clarksville, MD, and the University of Maryland College Park with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He enjoyed genealogical research and traveling.
Jason is survived by his mother, Stephanie Valentine Carpentier, father, Mackie Carpentier, sister, Kimberly Carpentier, brother, Julian Carpentier, sister-in-law, Celia Carpentier, niece, Blake Carpentier, grandmother, Edna Valentine-Staats, and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in his name, www.nami.org.
