It is with profound sadness and grief that we announce the passing of our beloved Jay Michael Jolson who we had to say our last goodbye on August 4, 2026. Be was 50 years old and his time with us was far too short.
Jay was a deeply loved and cherished husband, brother and son, kin and loved one to many and friend whose presence brought something special to the lives of those who knew him. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the countless moments, memories, laughter, and love he shared with the people closest to him. Many will miss Jay, and will remember his kindness, cheer and welcoming to all.
To his wife Donna, Jay was more than a husband. He was her partner in life, best friend, they shared true love and devotion to each other, an irreplaceable part of her world. The life they shared and the memories they created together will always remain a treasured part of her heart. For Donna’s children Sara and Sophia Jay was more than a stepfather, he was someone they loved, trusted and considered an important part of the family.
Jay was the beloved son of his father Rick, and his mother, Penny, a cherished brother to Bryan. He was also surrounded by a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who shared many memories with him throughout his life.
Jay's passing leaves an immeasurable absence in the lives of those who loved him. Although his life ended far too soon, the love he gave, the memories he created, and the ways he touched the lives of others will continue.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Rest peacefully, Jay. You were loved beyond words, and you always will be.
