

Born on January 22, 1943 in Goldsboro North Carolina to the union of the late Herman Robinson and Sallie Parker Sampson. Jazell, affectionally known as “Jay”, was the second oldest of 5 children and was often described as "wise beyond his years."
Jay is survived by his beloved wife of over 40 years, Lynne Houston Robinson, his sons Myles Robinson, Cailean Robinson, Jazell Robinson Jr, Keith Robinson, Tony Robinson and his daughter Tracey Cox-Sharps and is predeceased by his daughter Bridgette Robinson. He leaves behind a whole host of grandchildren, grand nephews, and his 4 siblings Faye Jennette(Boston), Ray Sampson(St.Louis), Broadie Sampson Jr (North Carolina) and Vonnell Robinson (North Carolina).
Jazell’s presence will be deeply missed. His impact endures in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, commitment and steadfastness will forever shine brightly, a beacon of inspiration for all. May he find eternal peace, cradled in the warm embrace of fond memories.
Services will take place on September 20, 2025 at 11:00am at Myrtle Baptist Church 21 Curve Street West Newton MA 02465.
