John Henry Lewis Jr.

Col. John Henry Lewis Jr. (Ret.) was born in Baltimore, MD and departed life on Tuesday, April 16h, 2013 at his home in Columbia, MD. He was the son of the late John Henry Lewis, Sr. and Mary Sylvestia Allen. He leaves to mourn: his son Marcus Lewis, daughter-in-law Kirstin Lewis and grandsons Darian and Donovan Lewis of Westminster MD, former wife Christina Lewis of Baltimore, MD, two aunts Hattie Jeffries and Alma Fredericks of Gladstone VA, many special cousins of Forrest, Gladstone and Lynchburg VA, devoted cousin Taesha Spencer of Columbia, MD, Goddaughter Euphra Synae Bruton of Columbia MD, former brother-in-law Jacquette Turner Sr. of Philadelphia, PA and several special nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his beloved friend, Vernice Musgrove, of Baltimore Md.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, April 24th from 2 -4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, MD, Where funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 25th at 9 am followed by the Interment at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD.
