My wonderful mom, Joyce Korin Barnes, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, January 14, 2024. She lived nearly 85 long years, was an incredible mom and an amazing grandmother to Brian Glueck, Jamie Glueck and Bobby Yonta. She was a strong, accomplished professional, owning her own real estate brokerage. A lover of animals, throughout her life she provided passionate rescue and caring support for animals in need. She was an avid sports fan and my biggest fan. She adored and was so proud of her grandchildren. Taken from us far too soon, she was predeceased by her husband William Barnes and her daughter and my loving sister, Pam Marello. She was a dear friend to so many and cherished her last years with her friends at Vantage House. We will be celebrating her life at Vantage House, 2nd Floor Auditorium, 5400 Vantage Point Rd, Columbia, MD 21044 on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 9:30-11:00am.
