Judy Ibrahim of Columbia, MD passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 90. She is survived by her son, Karim, daughter-in-law Natalie, grandson Walter and brother Jeff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arif, and daughter, Lara.
Judy was born in 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, where she met her husband, Arif. Arif's work for the U.S. Foreign Service took the couple to Rhodes, Greece, where they lived for fourteen years and where Judy gave birth to her two children. Upon returning stateside, Judy was a longtime sales associate for Woodward and Lothrop, Hecht’s and JC Penny at the Columbia Mall. In her leisure time, she was a voracious reader and a devoted cat lover.
