

She was the daughter of the late Irene Wilson and the late Anthony Masielo. She is survived by her son Terry Possehl, her sister Beatrice Petrella, and many loved and loving relatives in the state of Missouri. She is predeceased by a brother, the late Charles Slevin.
In her professional career she performed a wide range of administrative duties. Her work history included Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President of the Institute for Regulatory Science, Columbia, Maryland.
She was a Boy Scout Leader for many years. Her scouting duties, which she found very enjoyable, included planning and leading troop meetings, organizing outdoor activities and teaching scouting skills. She also volunteered/served with a number of local arts organizations.
Linda was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Columbia, Maryland, and a member of the church choir which gave her an outlet for her love of music and her love of God.
She will be greatly missed by many whose lives she touched in a personal and caring way.
A visitation for Linda will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Wilde Lake Interfaith Center, 10431 Twin Rivers Rd, Columbia, MD 21044, followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 PM. Burial will occur at 1:30 PM at Linthicum Chapel Cemetery, 12155 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Epilepsy Foundation Maryland, 3540 Crain Hwy, Suite 675, Bowie, Maryland 20716 would be appreciated.
