Morning Glory “Glory” Grecco, daughter of Esmirelda Grecco, Tom Wheeler and John Grecco; was born February 17th, 1997 in Silver Spring, MD. She graduated Oakland Mills High School and attended George Mason University where she was an honors student in the Video Game Design department from 2015-2019.
From an early age, Glory showed great enthusiasm for her family, friends, education, music, games, art, comedy, movies and animals. At a young age, she earned a black belt and did volunteer work with horses and the elderly. Glory had a beautiful voice and she played the bass/keyboards. She had an intense musical knowledge contributed by her family and friends.
Gaming was a huge part of Glory’s life and she loved to play with the people that meant the most. She enjoyed fun times and her sense of humor had her family and friends in stitches. Her laughter was infectious and her favorite times were with her people surrounded by great games, laughs and memories.
Glory was an active vegetarian and always believed in the health and care of her furry friends. Throughout her entire life Glory lived with cats, but has always been a huge animal lover. Her cats that will miss her dearly are Daffodil, Taffy, Dennis and Ziggy. Peaceful, Booger and Noodle now get to spend their time with her in Heaven.
During her life, Glory was a world traveler. Some of her most special trips include traveling to Liverpool, England; Lyon, France; Orlando, Florida; Upstate New York and the Shenandoah Mountains with her family.
Glory’s family would love to take the time to thank everyone for their love, friendship and well wishes. In leu of sending flowers, we would love if you donated to Sylvia Rivera Law Project (link attached below). Glory came out as transgender to a few members of the family before she passed and we want to commemorate her memory with our love and support.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at Witzke Funeral Home in Columbia, MD on Sunday, December 15th at 2Pm. Family and friends are to be received from 1-2PM. We ask that you wear anything purple and/ or green to support Glory. They were her favorite colors.
