Peggy Aliberti (née Huggins), born on March 24, 1955, passed away on June 3, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother, whose life was defined by her boundless generosity and compassion.
Peggy is survived by her beloved husband, James Aliberti; her daughter Rachel Souza and son-in-law Douglas Souza, along with her grandchildren Michael and Matthew Maher; and her daughter Maria Woolery and son-in-law Steven Woolery, and her granddaughter Louisa Woolery. Each of them brought immense joy and pride to her life, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her world.
Peggy was known for her caring nature, extending her kindness not only to her family and friends but also to animals, reflecting her big-hearted spirit. Her legacy of love and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide her family and all who knew her.
In honoring Peggy's life, her family finds solace in the countless beautiful memories and the profound impact she had on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
There will be no public service or memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Small Miracles Animal Shelter in Ellicott City or The Children's Home in Catonsville.
