To his family, he was the steady presence you could count on. He was a beloved husband, a caring father, and a devoted brother who valued time together, simple conversations, and showing up for the people he loved. He taught us a lot through the way he lived.
In his later years, he battled both Alzheimer’s and leukemia with courage. Even as those illnesses slowly took more from him, they never took away the love he had for his family or the impact he made on the people around him.
We will miss his voice, his stories, his humor, and the comfort of knowing he was always there. While our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the many years, memories, and love we shared with him. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will carry his memory forward every day.
