Aww, Rudy, I just assumed you'd make it to 100!
Rudy and I worked together at Singer Link Sim. Sys. in Silver Spring from around 1979 until he left.  We kept in touch for a while via occasional phone calls, a lunch or 2, and Christmas cards.

My very deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones who I know will miss him terribly.  Rudy Baker was a good man.

Rudy and I worked together at Hughes Flight Simulation in Herndon, VA. We became good friends and kept in touch after he retired. We met up for lunches on the weekend, talked on the phone every couple of months, wished each other happy September birthdays, and he helped celebrate my second wedding. I will miss hearing him say “Hey, T” and chatting about everything under the sun. Sending love and peace to his family.

There are no words to express the amount of sadness felt at this time. Mr Baker was an amazing man who poured into so many of us. His Legacy of love will forever live on in each of you.  Stacy we are keeping you and the family in fervent prayer.

I am a better person for knowing Rudy.  I knew Rudy for almost 40 years. He was a great person and teammate.  We played many years of softball together.  I really enjoyed his stories at the local pub after the games.  He will be missed all especially the Singer Softball Family

My sincere condolences to the family of Rudy Baker.  There was never a kinder, wiser, or harder working man than Mr. Baker. He had a strength and loving presence that made you feel safe, understood and at ease. He took me into his home without hesitation when I had no where to go.  I will always be grateful to Mr. Baker for his kindness and the life lessons  he taught by example.  Rest in power. You were loved. You will be missed.

Rudy Baker was a special person and the world is a little empty without him.  He was loved by all, even those with whom he disagreed.  And he was fearless in disagreement.  He tried hard to do good and that is about all you could ask of anyone.  He enjoyed people, enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.  We were all better for knowing him.
