Timothy James Lefebvre

Timothy James Lefebvre (Tim/Timmy) of Ellicott City and recently Baltimore, Maryland passed away tragically in a car accident on July 9, 2026. Born June 1, 2004, Tim lived a very full life in his 22 years. He was a 2022 graduate of Wilde Lake High School and a 2026 graduate of Loyola University Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in both Data Science and Political Science.

He was very kind and gentle, loving, respectful, patient, considerate, highly intelligent with a love of learning, clever, funny, energetic, and full of life. He always made sure those around him were having fun and felt included. Deeply caring and compassionate, he genuinely cared about the well-being of others. He was also passionate about social justice and advocating for causes close to his heart, especially his unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Tim was a soccer player, an expert skier, and a certified Scuba diver. He was active in the theater community, beginning in 3rd grade playing a Munchkin in a high school production of The Wizard of Oz, playing the star role of Mushu in his middle school’s productions of Mulan, and running sound for all his high school plays. He continued his theater work at Loyola University as a sought-after sound designer and stage manager, as well as a star onstage acting in a few fun performances.

Tim played percussion in the high school marching band and became a talented pianist while at Loyola.

Tim was active in the Boy Scouts, earning the rank of Eagle Scout and many other Scouting awards. He twice served as his troop’s Senior Patrol Leader, and was elected to the Order of the Arrow, scouting’s honor society. As an adult scouter, he co-led with his father a High Adventure trip to BSA Florida Seabase, mentoring several youth Scouts and helping them become certified Scuba divers.

He fostered his love of the outdoors both in Scouting and with his family, and enjoyed hiking, camping, and kayaking. Tim was very curious and enjoyed traveling, visiting many national parks across the country with his family. His adventurous nature led him to study abroad in both France and Japan as part of his Loyola University studies.

Some other fun facts about Tim were that he was great at dancing, loved sharks, loved his video games, and had become quite an amateur chef. He made the best maple salmon.

Tim was loved immeasurably, and is survived by his parents, Michael and Carla Lefebvre, his sister, Anna Lefebvre, of Ellicott City, Maryland, his girlfriend, Alexis Piasecki, of Baltimore, Maryland, his roommate, Katie Tomassone, of Baltimore, Maryland, his grandmother, Lauriel McCance of Ellicott City, Maryland, his grandfather, Stephen Lefebvre (and Bettye) of The Villages, Florida, his aunts and uncles, Tonya Nash (and Tom) of Siler City, North Carolina, Heidi Mobley (and Perri) of Columbia, Maryland, Greg Lefebvre (and Lisa) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Karen Harvey (and Duncan) of Essex Junction, Vermont, many first and second cousins, great aunts and uncles, many family friends, scouting friends, and his special Loyola friends.

A visitation will be held at Witzke Funeral Home, 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, Maryland 21045 on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 2pm to 4pm, and from 6pm to 8pm. A subsequent Celebration of Life Service and light refreshments will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 5pm at Loyola University Maryland, McGuire Hall, 4501 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21212
