Annabelle "Ann" Carolyn Quade

Ann was born on October 14, 1930, in St. Louis, MO, to Frank and Bertha Scherer. She graduated from Ritenour High School and married Ernie Quade on September 1, 1951. Together, they shared many wonderful years before his passing. Ann was a devoted homemaker, lovingly caring for her family throughout her life.

Ann had a variety of interests that brought her joy. She enjoyed ceramics, camping, and traveling, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Ann also found comfort in completing Word Search puzzles, a hobby she enjoyed in her later years.

She is survived by her sons Jim (Mary Ann) Quade of Columbia, MO, and Jack (Angel) Quade of Holts Summit, MO, and her daughter Jill Hughes of Fulton, MO. Ann’s legacy continues through her grandchildren Julie Ballard, Brandon (Jennifer) Quade, Jason (Theresa) Quade, Erin (Graham) Mueller, Jessica Branham, Kelly (Robert) Henke, Christopher (Kennedy) Beauchamp, Tyler (Sequoia) Beauchamp, Jackie (Cyrus) Blackburn, and Shelby (Jake) Beauchamp. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernie; her parents, Frank and Bertha Scherer; her brother, George (Bud) Scherer; and her great-granddaughter, Annie Marie Henke.

A visitation will be held for Ann on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, MO. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Quade, Bob Foster, Robert Henke, Tyler Beauchamp, Wil McCauley, Christopher Beauchamp, Jessica Branham and Jackie Blackburn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s memory to OATS or Central Missouri Hospice.

Ann's family would like to express their deep gratitude for the love and care she received throughout her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
