Bonnie Lea Kempf, age 81, of Hallsville, MO passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Columbia. She was born on October 10, 1933 in Quitman, MO, the daughter of Mattie (Kelley) and Elva Shipley. Bonnie married Charles E. Kempf, Sr. on December 13, 1952.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Kempf, Sr.; sons, Charles E. Kempf, Jr. (Susan), Donald E. Kempf (Susan) and Richard Kempf; daughter, Donna McGee; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 2 brothers; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, May 1, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
