Carol Green, 83, of Columbia, MO, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 24th at home with her daughters by her side. As per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes in be placed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia.
Carol was born April 19, 1941, in Saffordville, KS to Clifford M. and Anna Marie Caruthers. She spent most of her happy childhood in Purdy, Missouri where they lived until her father passed away. They later moved to Higginsville, MO where she me her husband, Billy Joe Green. Two daughters where, Tamara and Kelly Ann were born from that union. In 1964, the Green family moved to Columbia where Carol worked in the MU Library until her retirement in 2000. She enjoyed her retirement fully until her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clifford M. Caruthers. Her two daughters survive as well as two sisters, Karen Carter and Sharon Miller.
