Charles Dean Burchett, 68, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He was born in Wichita, KS to the late Robert Burchett and the late JoAnn (Hahn) Burchett on July 13, 1956. Charles married Debbie Burchett on April 14, 1978, and she preceded him in death on September 15, 2011.
Charles grew up in Boonville, MO and lived most of his life in Columbia, MO until he retired from the VA hospital and moved to the lake. He enjoyed taking his boat out, going to car shows, BBQing, and watching his grandchildren play baseball.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Deana Holmes (Mike); significant other, Sandra Williams; sister, Blendia Humphrey (Larry); and grandchildren, Logan and Blake Holmes.
A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, MO. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, MO.
