Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday August 20, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10am Friday August 21, 2015 at the funeral home.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Phala Sontag and son Randy Sontag. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years Barbara of the home, son James” Jim” Sontag; three siblings Harold Sontag (Clara), of Columbia; Roy Sontag (Marshia), of North Carolina; Iola Grant (Robert), of Columbia, and granddaughter Kelsey Sontag, of Columbia.
Bill served in the US Navy, on USS Valley Forge, he also was in inspector for Insurance company, and was a farmer.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Bill Sontag’s Memorial Fund.
