Charlotte Emma Boone, 83 of Columbia, MO, passed away December 16, 2022. Charlotte was born in Sedalia, MO to Grover and Ellen DeLores (Sterling) Renno. Charlotte was a graduate of Smith Cotton High School. March 24, 1962, Charlotte married Eugene Boone. She had a career operating her own in home daycare and she retired from food service at Sedalia Public Schools. Charlotte’s passions included caring for the children she watched at the daycare and singing in the choir at the Bethel Church where she was a member.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, husband, and sister Virginia Blackerby.
She is survived by daughters, Kimberly Marchant, Rebecca Boone Tackett, and Priscilla Daniels; grandchildren, William "Rick" Schroeder, Claire Marchant, Jack Marchant, Karen Grayson, and Shawn Cowing; 5 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Joseph Renno, DeLores Bowlin, and Patricia Knight.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 pm. A committal service will be held in the chapel following the funeral due to impending weather conditions.
