I’m feeling so sorry for the grief my sister, Grace Sapp, is feeling at the loss of her husband David. Although their 40+ years together had spouts of strife their love ran strong and deep. Their children Colette, Kurt, and Garrett along with grandsons Preston and Cash all loved David and will miss him greatly. Gracie’s sisters Ruth LaHue, Judith Schieszer, Janet Strange-Doubledee, Mary Strange-Whitesides, Nancy Dunagan, Diana Short, and Victoria Ridgeway all loved David. I know that Janet, Mary and Nancy all met David with love when he passed from this life. David will never be alone because the love he gave and received when alive will only increase when his spirit rejoices with Christ.

David’s spirit of laughter will live on forever. Several years ago when comedians Jon Schieszer and Pauly Shore were preforming at the lake, David’s nephew Jon introduced David to Pauly. They hung out for several hours and David had Pauly in stitches with his jokes and conversation. Pauly gave David the highest compliment a comedian can give when he said, “Man you should be a comedian!”
Rest in love, peace, and laughter David.

From Diana Short I’ll never forget the day he tore the roof off of his house and the next day built another level on it he was a hard worker he was funny and there was always excitement going on around him I loved him very much. From Steve I loved him we had great times together what a sense of humor

Although we never had the pleasure of meeting David, if he was anything like Scott, he was a really nice person. We are so very sorry for your loss.
Our prayers are with you.

Judy, Raymond and family, we are so very sorry for your loss. David was and is one heck of a guy. David built us the most awesome pool deck and covered our patio. He went above and beyond what was asked. We will never forget his silliness and jokes. Luv to all,

Mike Strong
