He was born on October 21, 1954 in Columbia, MO son of Ruey and Marjorie (Redmond) Burks.
Donald was a heavy equipment operator and had worked for APAC. He enjoyed fishing and being a loving brother and uncle.
He is survived by his significant other Katherine Simpson of the home and two sisters Denise Shaw and Glenda King. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
