He was born on May 13, 1955, in Jacksonville, Illinois to the late Merle Evans and the late Margery (Mulquin) Evans.
On November 4, 1988, Donald was united in marriage to Rhonda (Ponish) Evans.
Donald worked as a project manager at River City Construction before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren. They were his world.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Rhonda; children, Christine Weimer (Brock) and Rheann Evans; siblings, Teressa Murdock, Cathy Cole, Albert Evans, Dennis Evans, David Evans, and Pat Evans; and two grandchildren, Parker and Lola Weimer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tim, Merle, and Michael Evans.
