He was born October 12, 1926 and he married his college sweetheart, Betts Rowland, June 16, 1950.
He is survived by 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 sister. He proudly served 30 years in the United States Air Force. Following retirement from the Air Force, he pursued a banking career. He retired 18 years later as a vice president of a local bank.
