Donald L Wilson

Don Wilson, 68 of Columbia, MO passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Visitation will be from 3-5pm, Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Memorial Funeral home in Columbia. Funeral service will be 10am, Monday, October 16 at the funeral home, and burial will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Don was born May 14, 1949 in Mexico, MO to George and Antoinette Hausmann Wilson. He was the class President of the first graduating class of North Callaway High School.

On September 17, 1977, he married Jane Herman in Columbia, MO. He was owner and operator of Blacktop Paving Company for many years. He enjoyed spending time at their lake house, skiing, boating and having quality time with the family. He also enjoyed hunting deer and quail with his son, brother and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Jane; children, Laura Robinson of Columbia and Casey (Kayla) Wilson of Fayette; siblings, George Wilson of Columbia, Marion Wilson and Betty Cassidy of Jefferson City, Richard (Wanda) Wilson of Auxvasse, Jody (Debbie) Wilson of Fulton, and Agnes (Mike) Kennon of Auxvasse; grandchildren, Sophia Robinson, Ethan & Alex McBain, and Emmett Wilson; and many nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death.
