Dorothy Blumer, 67, of Fulton passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at University Hospital.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born October 1, 1950, in Columbia the daughter of Jesse and Cora (Welch) Hughes. She was married on May 28, 1982, in Fulton to Don Blumer, who preceded her in death on November 2, 2017. She retired from Ameren UE, where she worked for over 25 years as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed reading, writing, Words with Friends, and gardening. She loved her pets, and most of all spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by: her children: Lora Salmons of Fulton, James Stephens, Jr. of Centralia, Cindy Ward of Texas, and Shelly Worden of Washington; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her mother, Cora May Hill; brother Charles Hughes; and sister Carolyn Ivicsics. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Flora Evelyn Hughes.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
