Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home followed by burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, both in Columbia, MO. At this time, we are limiting the occupancy of our building to 50 people due to COVID-19 restrictions. After serving in both the Korean and Vietnam wars after a honorable discharge, Frank moved his family
to Modesto, CA. and began working in civil service for the Tracey Defense Depot. In 1997, he moved to
Columbia, MO and made a home there. In 2008, he lost his wife of 55 years of marriage, Mary Annabell Shaffer, and will be buried at her side. Frank had just recently moved to Winchester, ID.
Frank is survived by three children, Robert Paul Shaffer, Modesto, CA, Christine Gale Shaffer, Winchester, ID, and Debra Elaine Shaffer, of Waterford, CA; 9 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Jay Lee Shaffer.
