A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Saturday January 9, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Fred was born January 9, 1936 in Chariton County, MO to Carl Ernest Fuenfhausen and Ruth Agnes Bardot, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Maurice.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ruth, of the home. They were married May 2, 1955 in Glasgow, Missouri, and from that union, they had five children: Carol Gasperson(Mike), of Columbia; Carl Fuenfhausen(Kimberly), of Sturgeon; William Fuenfhausen, of Columbia; Catherine Walz, of Columbia, and Christie Fuenfhausen, of Columbia. Grandchildren Carly Pownall(Brent), of Illinois; Andrew Utterback(Kari Ann), of Columbia; Lyndzee Jackson(Jared), of Mexico; Ryan Fuenfhausen, Megan Walz, Milo Walz, of Columbia; Aurie Fuenfhausen, of Georgia and great-grandchildren Tucker Pownall and Addison Jackson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter 24687 Hwy 179, #1, Columbia, MO 65203.
