Funeral service will be on Monday, November 21, 2016 at St. Luke Orthodox Church, Columbia, MO at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Gus was born on March 18, 1931 in Koukos, Greece to Dimitrios and Thespina Aslanidis who preceded him in death. He was married on January 8, 1950 in Koukos, Greece to Kasiani Terzopoulos, who preceded him in death on June 29, 2012. He was the owner and operator of G&D Steakhouse in Columbia, MO since opening in 1970.
He is survived by four children, Dimitrios Aslanidis (Tina), Angelo Aslanidis (Elly), Maria Duncan (Douglas) and Alex Aslanidis (Renee) all of Columbia, MO; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two more great grandchildren on the way. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Epraksia Sevaslidis in 2001.
