A visitation will be held between 10am and 2pm on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held by his family at a later date.
He was born in Manila, Philippines on November 20, 1949. He came to the United States when he was 5 years old. Guy graduated from Louisiana High School in Louisiana, MO, and received two degrees from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Guy was a Supervisor at MBS, with many friends. He had a passion for golf, fishing, basketball, and his family.
He is survived by his mother Pat Travis of Louisiana, MO, his only daughter Tina M Travis-Cook, son-in-law Wayne A Cook, 6 grandchildren: Maxwell Travis, Nicholas Cook, Jillian Cook Madison Cook, Elliot Cook, and Sophia Cook of Higbee, MO. His sister Donna Travis of Louisiana, MO, and brother Byll Travis of Palm Spring, CA, Gerry Travis of Kansas City, MO, and George Travis of Seattle, WA, a niece Lisa Wise, and a nephew Larry Niemeyer II.
