Harold Philip “Rusty” Bradley, 73, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Boone Hospital. Services will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.
Rusty was born, September 9, 1950 in Gainesville, Georgia, the son of Harold Henry Bradley and Lou Nell Peck. In 1968 he was united in marriage to his wife, Deborah who survives.
Rusty was a firefighter for the City of Columbia as well as an instructor for the University of Missouri, Fire and Rescue Training Institute which became his passion. He was a talented musician playing bass in the band, “Country Fever.” They played for weddings, parties and contests all over the state. Some of Rusty’s greatest joys were fishing and spending time at the Lake, catching crappie & bass while relaxing on the water and spending time with Debbie and their friends from the campground.
Rusty is survived by his wife: Deborah; his daughter: Kelley (Ralph) Moore; two sisters: Brenda Colter; Lu Anne (Richard) Gaines; six grandchildren: April Renee (Blake) Courtney; Katlyn Nicole Moore; Lindzee Jeanelle Moore; Joselynn Lashea Bradley; DeMarcus Alonzo Harris (Maya Medina); DeAndre Phillip Harris (Gabby Gawronski); nine great grandchildren: Alex Courtney; Balin Courtney; Ky’Mier Walsh; KJ Kinney; Aliyah Hensley; Lawson Hensley; Zariah Hensley; Cayson Gawronski; Zayden Gawronski; and a host of cousins; nieces and nephews.
Preceding Rusty in death were his parents; one daughter: Tracy Elaine Bradley and one brother in law: Cliff Colter.
