Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Chester Heyer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
Harold was born on April 14, 1926 in Columbia, MO the son of Patton and Ethel (Haller) Hill who preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps. He was married on March 2, 1945 in Columbia, MO to Joyce Ray Johnson who preceded him death on July 30, 1992. He then married Cora (Welch) Hughes in Harrisburg, MO on April 27, 1994. Harold was a member of Wilkes Blvd United Methodist Church and retired from the United States Postal Service in 1977 as a Supervisor.
Survivors include: his wife, Cora Hill of the home; three sons, Jim Hill (Judy) of Columbia, MO, Steve Hill of Columbia, MO and Ken Hill (Dana) of Centralia, MO; four grandchildren, Becky Quinn, Todd Hill, Heather Hobaugh, Justin Hill; five great-grandchildren, Cole Wiser, Trevor Hill, Shelby James, Gavyn Hill and Jacson Quinn; two step-children, Carolyn Ivicsics and Charles Hughes and several extended family, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan Hill; one brother, Arnold Hill; three sisters, Wilmaette Armstrong, Wynonna Trimble and Imogene Woods and one step-daughter, Dorothy Blumer.
