Helen Louise (Moat) Miller, 89, of Columbia passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and a funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home.
Helen was born November 28, 1932 in Bloomington Indiana, the daughter of Albert Moat and Della (Hill) Moat-Hoover. On October 22, 1965, she was united in marriage to Victor A. “Bud” Miller who preceded her in death.
She was a devoted Christian who enjoyed gardening, crafting, and bowling. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
Helen is survived by her children, Linda K. (Rainbolt) Sexton and her husband, Phil, Rick G. Rainbolt and his wife, Robin, Valorie A. (Miller) Livingston and her husband, Brian; five grandchildren, Nathan Moench, Natalie Sexton, Nicole Sexton, Taylor Livingston, and Sydney Livingston; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and seven siblings, Sally (Moat) Barrett, William “Bill” Moat, Danny Moat, Betty (Moat) Anderson, Charles Moat, Jennie (Moat) Meadows, and Elmer Moat.
