OBITUARY

Janice Louise Hunt

Passed away on February 18, 2020

Janice Hunt (Allen), 60, passed away Tuesday, February 18th, 2020.

Janice was born in Hartsburg, MO, to parents, James Allen and Joyce Allen (Ahmann). Janice attended Ashland, MO schools and grew up with many brothers and sisters. When Janice was working at the University of Missouri in her 20’s she was introduced to Jack Hunt by his sister and they eventually married. Janice and Jack spent their time living life the best way they knew how, taking care of each other and loving one another very much. They loved to golf together, even though Janice was not always happy with her game she still loved to play. Janice also loved to take care of her home, planting flowers and making sure that the home was clean and tidy. Janice had worked with Jones, Schneider and Stevens Law Firm for most of her working career.

We will never forget her laugh, her smile, that twinkle of happiness in her eyes, and her very gracious heart!

Janice was predeceased by her father James.

She is survived by her loving husband Jack Hunt, her mother Joyce Allen, 6 siblings, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

At this time, the Celebration of Life for Janice is being postponed for a later date. Updates will be posted on this site when they become available.

I worked with Jan for over 12 years. She was a huge part of my daily life. We had many fun and happy times working together. Jan was such a sweet, kind, understanding, extremely intelligent and just all around wonderful lady. I will miss her terribly. This pic is from her 60th birthday. Her brother Joe had just given her 60 lottery tickets to scratch off. Life and work will never be the same without Jan in it. She will forever be young, beautiful, loved and missed. Love you Jan. RIP my dear friend.
