Jean Mary (Teschner) ONeal, 70, of Auxvasse, MO, passed away on October 27, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. Born on December 14, 1953, in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Riley) Teschner. Jean married her lifelong love and adventure partner, Thomas ONeal on June 14, 1975. Together they spent 49 Years together. Together, Tom and Jean raised three sons, Kevin, Kris and Kyle. Following Jean's retirement from her career as a registered nurse, she and Tom became avid travelers, frequently using their motor home to explore various destinations. They divided their time between Columbia, Missouri during the summer months and Galveston, Texas in the winter. She cherished every moment shared with her sons, Kevin, Kris and Kyle and their families. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to attend their school events, sports games, or simply spend an afternoon sharing stories. Jean's home was always a place of comfort and joy, where everyone felt welcome and loved.
Jean is survived by her husband Tom, her sons; Kevin (Kari), Kris (Kayla), Kyle (Amie) grandchildren; Braydn, Emma, Katie, Coltyn, Kierstyn and Kourtney.
A visitation for Jean will be on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia, Missouri. The funeral service follows at 1:00 PM, with a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia, Missouri.
