Jeff was born on May 27, 1945, to the late Robert Hammond and Alice Wallman. He and his sister were raised by his grandparents, George and Elsa Wallman.
On September 1, 1967, he was united in marriage to Beth (Schol), beginning a partnership that spanned nearly six decades.
Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Army and continued his commitment in the reserves until he was 60 years old. He had a deep love for dancing, especially ballroom and country styles, and found joy in gardening and hunting. Jeff was a devoted Christian who raised his children with strong biblical values, guiding them to follow Jesus and live Christ-centered lives. His legacy of faith continues through his grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Beth, of 58 years; his children, Aaron Wallman (Amy), Sarah Maher (Joey), and Elisabeth Myers (Tim); his brother, Scott Hammond (Joni); and his eleven grandchildren, with one great-grandchild on the way.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his sister, Christine.
