Josephine Louise King

Josephine Louise King, 92, of Boonville passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Cooper County Memorial Hospital. Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the choice of the donor. Josephine was born on March 7, 1925, in Wooldridge, Missouri, the daughter of Adam and Minnie (Pursley) Stock, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married on July 6, 1940, in Kansas City to Leroy King, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2008. She worked for 30 years at Boben Heel Factory. Josephine enjoyed working in her garden and yard when she was able, and loved to read. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She is survived by: 5 children: Edward (Shirley) King of Boonville, Lois (Eddie) Fisher of Franklin; Jim (Louise) King of Raymore; Larry King of Boonville; and Beverly (Dale) Agnew of Boonville; 1 brother, Leo (Judy) Stock of Boonville; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 4 sisters, and 2 grandchildren.
