Juanita D. Murray

Juanita was born on June 11, 1917 Daughter of Shelby and Sarah (Sallie) Nichols of Sturgeon, MO. She lived her whole life in Boone County and was a retired Inspector for the Dorn Cloney Laundry Services and Murray and Sons, Inc. (Ralph’s Market) at the Pinnacles. She was married on September 30, 1939 in Hallsville, MO to Ralph Murray who preceded her in death on June 30, 1989.

Juanita is survived by her twin sons Ronald Murray and wife Judy of Columbia and Donald Murray of Harrisburg. Five Grandchildren, 16 Great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, one brother, one sister in-law and one brother in-law.

She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star #421 in Harrisburg, MO and a member of Riggs Methodist Church for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Michael Will officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until service time. Memorials are suggested to the Riggs Methodist Church.
