She was born in Austin, TX on December 10, 1940 before moving to Missouri as a young girl, but Texas always held a special place in her heart. She then graduated from Hickman High School in 1959 in Columbia, MO. “Forever a Kewpie”. Judy went on to marry Philip L. Alspaw on June 20, 1959.

She loved gardening, baking, and hosting family gatherings that often lasted well into the evening. She created a warm, welcoming home that became the family gathering place, “The Alspaw Ranch.”
Judy adored being outdoors with nature. She enjoyed the family property with all its flowers, water features, statuettes, and pets, which mostly adopted her. Her home was her haven and there was always a bed and pillow for another head.
Judy will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving wife, mother, companion with a caring soul and big heart. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. We love you “Mema”!
