On September 23, 1946, she was born to the late Lawrence K. Beckley and the late Elsie Pearl (Martin) Beckley in Mexico, MO.
She was united in marriage to the love of her life and soulmate, Donald Rice, on September 25, 1966, and he survives her passing. They met at the Reble Room, and it was love at first sight. They were married for 58 beautiful years.
Kelliena was a devoted and active member of New Providence Baptist Church, where she was deeply loved and cherished by the congregation. Her faith and kindness were evident in every aspect of her life. She found great joy in vacationing with her mother, sister and daughter. Above all, Kelliena treasured the time spent with her family. A talented beautician for over 50 years, Kelliena touched many lives through her work. Her final haircut, given to her grandchild, affectionately known as the family’s miracle child, was a touching reflection of the love and legacy she leaves behind. Kelliena's warm spirit, generous heart, and deep love for her clients and community will never be forgotten. She was truly loved by all who knew her.
Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Donald; daughter, Tammy Nowlin; grandchildren, Amanda Rice (Palmer), Joyce Enyart (Jeffery Layton), and Donald Nowlin (Courtney); eight great grandchildren, many nieces, nephew, cousins and other family members, and her best friends and neighbors, Jackie and Loyd.
