Linda Mae Hoaglin, age 68 of Columbia, MO and formerly Quincy, IL passed quietly at her home with her daughter by her side the morning of May 1, 2021.

Linda was born to Robert and Eunice Daniels Bangert on July 2nd, 1952 in Quincy, IL. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1970 before spending 40 years with the love of her life, her husband, Michael Lavon Hoaglin who preceded her in death.

Linda's life was centered around spending time with her family and friends whether it was on long telephone calls, having an evening of fun playing slots, or simple conversation while she entertained in her living room. Linda was a member of the Elks Lodge.

Linda came from a large family and was preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bobby" Bangert; sisters, Carolyn Johnston and Tammy Lepper; brother-in-laws, Phillip Hinshaw and Eddie Johnston.

Linda's loving sister, Sharon Hinshaw; lone daughter, Amber (Christopher) Huffman; granddaughter, Kaya Lynn Huffman and grandson, Leo Michael Huffman as well as many nieces and nephews await to be greeted by her in heaven.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 5thfrom 5-7pm at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W, Columbia, MO 65202. A funeral mass will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, May 6th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1435 E 1500 St, Quincy, IL 62305 with burial to follow in the church cemetery in her native Quincy, IL just a mile east of the home she grew up in and the church she wed her husband.
