

A Gathering of friends will take place on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside Services will take place on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 10 AM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri with Full Military Honors.
Lloyd was born on September 11, 1944 in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, the son of Lloyd Lenwood Farris and Margaret Catherine (Everett) Farris. On February 6, 1981, in Cocoa Beach, Florida, he was united in marriage to Kathleen A Snodgrass who survives his passing.
Lloyd had a distinguished career in the United States Air Force. He entered service in 1962 and retired 22 years later in 1984 with the rank of Senior Master Sargent. He served during the Vietnam War in 1972. He was employed with the University of Missouri for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had a passion for restoring and rebuilding antique tractors. He will be remembered as a loving father and husband. He was a wonderful provider for his family and it gave him great joy to follow and cheer on his grandchildren in all their events and activities.
Lloyd is survived by his wife: Kathleen; his children: Ty Farris and wife Renee; Tammy Farris and husband Todd Rogers; Branden Burks and wife Stacy; Jessica Farris-Ginther and Husband Matthew; his grandchildren: Madeline Farris; Dawson Farris and wife Emily; Drew Farris and wife Amber; Kenzie Worden and husband Tyler; Lawson Burks; Holden Ginther; great grandchildren: Daxson, Arlyn, and Palmer Farris; his sister: Barbara Fager and husband John; two brothers: Edward Farris and wife Leann; Robert Everett and wife Carolyn and a host of additional relatives.
