Remembering the impressively smart kiddo who used to sit at the brewery bar most Sunday mornings: We cracked jokes, shared facts and drank sparkling OJs. We watched him grow up there. 

I remember a particularly funny morning when he came in with an annoying loose tooth and between making drinks, I offered to pull it out. He looked at me as if I were kidding but I assured him I wasn't. He thought about it for a minute then said let's do it. I proceeded to yank that sucker out swiftly and we both laughed, a little surprised at what we'd done. He was so relieved to have it gone and that made me really happy that day. 

My heart goes out to Walker and Kimberly, my Broadway family and all the people who knew and loved Lushen.
