Madeline was born October 3, 1931, in St. Louis, MO, the only child of Earl and Isabel Holland Mincher. She lived most of her life in St. Louis, Missouri and was a 1949 graduate of Roosevelt High School. She was first married in 1950 to Delbert Walker and was a homemaker for her family until she began working as a dental assistant. She enjoyed sewing and needle craft and later in her life she began quilting as well. She enjoyed meeting people and loved spending time with her many friends. She was also an avid fiction reader. In 1973, she married Raymond C. Sansouci in St. Louis, and after he retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1976, they moved to Cotter, Arkansas to live on the White River. Her life on the White River and the many friends gained while there, were her true happy place. She loved her three children and her dachshunds very much. She lived for a few years at The Terrace in Columbia and was content with her time and friends there.
She is survived by two children, Karen Elaine (Robert) Bauer of Columbia and Stephen Keith Walker of St. Charles; grandchildren, Sara Marie Walker, Matthew Joseph Walker, Jenny Sansouci, Lisa Sansouci, and Barb Jaycox; daughters-in-law, Nancy Sansouci and Renee Sansouci, and a loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Sansouci; sons, Matthew Scott Walker, Russell Sansouci, and Raymond Sansouci; and a grandson, Eric Sansouci.
