Martha Underwood

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Parkade Baptist Church, 2102 N Garth Ave from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.

Martha was born on October 31, 1929 in Cape Girardeau, MO the daughter of James and Nellie Jewel (Thomas) Hall who preceded her in death. She was married in 1968 to Jim Underwood who survives of the home. Martha was a faithful member of Parkade Baptist Church in Columbia, and was always known for the love and care she showed for others. She loved reading and cooking, and could never have enough Cokes! Martha bettered the lives of all she met, and she will be dearly missed.

Other survivors include: one daughter, LuAnn Conner of St. Louis, MO; one grandson, Austin Conner of Columbia, MO; three great grandchildren, Adelyn, Tyler and Clayton. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Ann Faris and Jewell Lee; one son, Donald Paul Sitton and one daughter Cindy Jo Sitton.
