Mary Ann Tremaine

Mary Ann Tremaine, born on December 28, 1934, in Harrisburg, Missouri, the daughter of Stacy and Exie Bernice (South) Griggs, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024 at the age of 89. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Lawrence Tremaine, whom she married on December 24th, 1955.

Together they had three children: Tammy Wolff, Terri Tremaine, and Troy (Aimee) Tremaine. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Presley (Kurt) Vaughan, Stacey Wolff, Elliott Wolff, Ava Tremaine, Ella Tremaine, Emilia Tremaine, and Adelynn Tremaine. Additionally, she leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Natalie Vaughan, Gracelynn Vaughan, Nora Vaughan and Porter Vaughan.

Mary was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved playing cards, square dancing back in the day, spending time with her family, and especially her last two pets, Coby and Gus. Mary was also a member of the Bowlers Hall of Fame.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, Missouri. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed immediately by the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Final resting place will be Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia.

Mary will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
