Millard (Abe) Young, 68, went home to be with the Lord Savior Jesus on January 10, 2016. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 11am to 1pm with a service at 1pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Columbia Cemetery. He was born on March 7, 1947. Abe was a graduate of Hickman high School in 1965. He was in the Army from 1966 to 1972. He was employed with the University Hospital for 12 years and retired from the Columbia Regional Airport after 25 years. Abe is preceded in death by his mother Ethel Young, sister Joyce Malveaux, niece, aunts and uncles. He leaves behind a brother Maurice (Leah) Donnell, sister Shirley Buford both of Columbia, MO, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in his name.
