Nancy Patchett

She was born on July 1, 1940, in St. Joseph, MO to her parents, the late Byron and Edna Hoover of Princeton, MO. She is survived by three siblings, Wayne Hoover, Donna Cox, and Karen Breit. She married James "Jim" Patchett in 1961. She was a devoted wife, loving mother to her three children, very proud grandmother to her seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was known for her warm funny spirit, her love of singing with the Columbia Mother Singers, baking, cooking, traveling, and watching sports.

She will be deeply missed by her children: son Jamie Patchett (Trisha Patchett) of Columbia, MO, daughter Amy Patchett Mayberry (Craig Keohan) of Shawnee, KS, and son Adam Patchett (Jessica Patchett) of Columbia, MO; her seven grandchildren, Olivia Mayberry Haynes (William Haynes), Rebecca Mayberry, Sydney Scott, Jackson and Jenna Patchett, James and John Patchett; one great-granddaughter, Blakeleigh Haynes; and all of her many family and friends.

Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West, Columbia, MO 65202, on Saturday July 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at 12:00 a.m. until the time of service. Donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association of Columbia, MO that leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, risk reduction and early detection.
